On Friday twelve of us enjoyed a double garden visit to Pyt House and Willow Tree Cottage, Ashampstead. Willow Tree Cottage is a small but very pretty garden with a duck pond. The views from around the garden were amazing. We then went to Pyt House next door which is a 4 acre garden designed by the owner. It was absolutely beautiful and hard to believe that it had only been completed 4 years ago. After our tour we had a very welcome cup of tea and delicious cake. The gardens will be open on the afternoon of the 28th June 2009 for the NGS. I highly recommend you visit them if you can. Viv |
