Here are a few photos of our garden visit to Le Manoir on Monday 18th June 2007. It was brilliant, Neil one of the five gardeners there gave us an interesting and very informative tour. We were very impressed with the vegetable garden and it has inspired some of us to try some of the more unusual vegetables, many I wasn't even aware could be grown outdoors in our climate. Le Manoir grow approximately 40% of the fruit and vegetables for the restaurant. It really is a beautiful place, with a very calm and tranquil atmosphere. I am saving up my pennies to go there for lunch and another walk around the gardens. By Viv Moll PS Click on the photos to see enlarged copy. |
