Visit to Brightwell Vineyard

Carol Nielsen took us round the vineyard showing us the different varieties of grapes that they grow. And then she introduced us to the different wines that they have produced and we had a wine tasting session. We were also able to buy a few bottles to take home with us.

This is how the grapes were looking on Sunday 21st August. Carol said that they planned to pick on various days between 8th and 23rd October depending on the condition of the grapes, weather, etc. Click here to see photos of the harvest.
