| Although we missed July, 8 members of the walking group met again on 22nd of August for a bracing walk around Britwell Salome and Ewelme. This is walk No. 11 in the book. Due to time pressure we chose to do the shorter 3.5 mile route. As it was quite windy this turned out to be as challenging as people wanted it to be and allowed for a leisurely break to visit Ewelme church, Almshouses and gardens. Martin and Jen had been before and pointed out many areas of interest (see photo ). Luckily the wind kept the rain away so we all got home dry. | |
